Love Veggie Style

There is a nondescript ranch house on West Main Street that I pass each time I go to the barn. In front of that little red brick house, right next to the street sits a table, probably 10 feet long holding boxes overflowing with vegetables. There used to be a sign that says, “free”. Now, I guess, most folks in the neighborhood know to expect the squash, zucchini and tomatoes that are available in the summer for anyone who stops by. By the time I come home the boxes are often depleted, vegetables on their way to another table. What a gift of generosity to those who enjoy the veggies for supper and to those who get see love in action.
